CHI RUNNING + WALKING

Chi Running and Walking is a simple and very effect technique influenced by Tai Chi and Pilates principles that will keep you running and walking forever !  I came across a book “Chi Running” 15 years ago and within a week noticed less pain and more enjoyment in my running. I wrote to the company in America, started my training,  become a instructor in the method, then work my way up to becoming a Master Training. 

 

I have taught  many people of all ages, shapes and ability how to run, get back to running or keep running after being told to stop. 

Like Pilates, Chi running and Chi Walking focusses on alignment and moving from your centre/core...mindfully. I saw this method as a way of applying the Pilates method to active upright movement.  Pilates, Chi Running and Walking is about  body awareness, making this connection with your body means you can make adjustments to posture and movement patterns.
